Rigor and Relevance Handbook Rigor and Relevance Handbook is the teacher's companion to Planning Rigorous and Relevant Instruction - A Resource Kit, which is used to conduct professional development on the Rigor/Relevance Framework. The Handbook includes the essential elements from the resource kit as well as a planning process that focuses attention on learning. In addition, the Handbook contains examples of student activities and teacher checklists for using the Rigor/Relevance Framework in designing lessons and assessments. We believe the Rigor and Relevance Handbook can assist teachers in improving instruction, so that all students benefit from a rigorous and relevant education.
