Congratulations to our first 2 winners of video iPods – a math educator from TX and a teacher from NC! More drawings to come this fall.

Welcome

We invite you to participate in a free online survey for educators, business/industry and the general public to share their opinions about what is essential for students to learn by the time they graduate from high school.

Rationale for the Study

  • U.S. schools need solutions for dealing with an overcrowded curriculum with too much material to be taught.

  • Educators need a way to differentiate between knowledge and skills that are essential for all students to master and information that is nice to know, but not essential.

  • The survey results will provide schools, districts, and states with a "road map" that can lead to curriculum, instruction and assessment targeted to the most essential skills and knowledge.

Taking the survey is an opportunity for you to contribute to American education. The survey is designed to enable school districts and schools to engage their staffs and communities in a serious discussion about what should be taught in their schools.

Group Report

To register a group (school, school district, business or other organization) to take the survey and receive a free personalized report, contact Deb Light at DebbieL@LeaderEd.com.
