Brain Health and the Impact on Instruction

Current research in neuroscience on how the human brain functions and processes information has direct implications for instruction, curriculum, and learner engagement. Applying this research can help raise the achievement and involvement of students by making classroom experiences more compatible with the way they learn. What we now know about brain capacity and function provides a scientific basis for rigor, relevance, and relationships and significantly informs ways to improve student engagement.
