Achieving AYP Using State-specific Curriculum Matrix Data

This resource kit provides user-friendly crosswalks of your state’s standards and subcategories (e.g., benchmarks, performance indicators, topics) to your state assessments in English language arts, mathematics, and science and to the International Center’s Curriculum Survey of Essential Skills. High, medium, and low priorities are assigned to each subcategory in the standards based on the crosswalks. The kit includes professional development activities to help educators set instructional priorities, improve their pedagogical skills, and teach for rigor and relevance. Also included on CD are 150 Gold Seal Lessons linked to essential skills for grades K-12.
